Peter Wilhelmsson

I’m a Zürich-based photographer with over 20 years of experience. My work primarily focuses on street photography and portraiture, but I also enjoy capturing landscapes, dogs, and architecture.

My approach to photography transformed completely after taking a course in street photography. Instead of simply capturing moments wherever I went, I began seeking out locations with the sole purpose of creating compelling images. This shift led to more vibrant, authentic photographs.

Alongside street photography, I developed a passion for portrait photography. My journey with photography began in black and white—I even had my own darkroom as a teenager. Now, I have returned to this timeless style, and today, most of my work is in monochrome.
